Prajit from India

I found the education at University of Tasmania to be very practical. When I came out of university I did a graduate job at Hydro Tasmania and what I studied was effectively what I could use right away. 

Growing up in India, I knew I wanted to finish my higher education abroad. I arrived in Australia in 2006 and completed two master's degrees, a Master of Business and a Master of Professional Accounting. After graduating I was offered jobs in mulitple states but I chose Hydro Tasmania, Australia’s largest generator of renewable energy.  Today I am Manager of Spot Markets at Hydro Tasmania. 

Essentially for me my life is set in Hobart. I've got a beautiful family here. We have got amazing friends and we've got a great work-life balance.
